I made cookies today because my mother got to get rid of her torturous support stockings and she's off her pain pills.  YAY!  And I'm totally psyched for my cousin Kristin's wedding this weekend!  WOOT!!

Day 30 - Why Do YOU Love Doctor Who

This one was kind of hard because this show has so many amazing guest stars (especially in Season 5, for some reason).

TONY CURRAN AS VINCENT VAN GOGH

His performance was so sweet and moving, and he really made Van Gogh seem like a person---a deeply tortured but genuinely good man, not just that crazy guy who cut off his ear lobe.  His Van Gogh is just so darn cute!  Sorry, it had to be said.  I love me a good woobie.  Is it possible for a character to be both anvilicious and subtle?  Because I think Van Gogh is just that here.  It's weird.  This is an entry that I wish I could explain more, but I think it's kind of one of those "you just have to watch the episode" things.
Also: I know that some people on my flist think Tony Curran looks like a red-haired CE, and I think I see it.  But what I find hilarious about this is that he played the Invisible Man character in The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, which I haven't seen, but sounds kind of interesting.  Still, it's amusing.
