THE CHILEAN MINERS ARE OUT OF THE MINE!!! WOO-HOO!!!! I got home right as they were lifting Yonni Barrios, their "Dr. House" (the guy with a wife and a mistress), out of there. His mistress was there to greet him, while his wife wasn't, but it was still really moving. My dad thinks they should market those sunglasses the miners have to wear. Apparently, they were about $180 a pop. Wow. Anyway, it's wonderful and amazing that they're out.

Comic Book Movie News:
Evidently, Tom Hardy is going to be one of the leads in Batman 3 (not the official title). I haven't seen Inception, but I'm sure he'll be great. Everyone thinks he's going to be one of the villains. He might be able to pull off the Riddler but Mr. Nygma is still David Tennant in my mind. Why do so many people want JGL to be the Riddler? I can't really see it. Hardy, though, yeah, I can. And what happened to all the Johnny Depp speculation? Anyway, people also think Hardy should be Hush or Black Mask, but I'm not familiar with either of those villains, so I can't judge. There's also speculation about Killer Croc being in the film because someone connected to the production was inquiring about crocodiles and alligators somewhere. I don't know. What do you people think?
All I want is the Riddler. My inner 5-year-old must be satisfied! ;)
This isn't so much news as it is an awesome X-Men First Class fan trailer:
This looks like an actual trailer. The editing and clip choices are perfect---I love how it sets Xavier up as at least semi-privileged, while Magneto is clearly screwed up and disadvantaged. This thing has a whole basic plot drawn from mostly unrelated footage. It's amazing. This YouTube user, silverlightsaber, does so many fantastic fan trailers; I love them all. I also love that FASSY IS YOUNG!MAGNETO!!! Seriously, though, I think Michael Fassbender will do an awesome job. And James McAvoy will probably be a great Young!Xavier.
To sum up: This fan trailer got me super-excited for a movie that won't be out for some eight or nine months. But I want it now.
