I have a Lesbian cousin in San Jose whose partner is having back surgery.  I don't even know if she will be able to see her in the hospital.  They've been together for decades, and I think that they have a contract in place as backup for their valid marriage that people are preventing from being recognized because they think that their God's most ( Read more... )

I have heard people in even the most hotly contested battleground states say "Oh, he's going to win anyway."    Not with that attitude.  If that attitude is as widespread as it seems to be to me, we are in trouble. I've said it before and I'll say it again: Yes, we can, but we still have to.
