Environmental Dry Cleaning

I found a good article on the more environmental alternatives to perc dry cleaning: http://www.sprig.com/Your_Dry_Cleaning/output/print

Perc is toxic for humans and the environment, but has been the only way to get dry-clean only completely clean for a long time. Until recently, the best solution was to use as little as possible (also best for the life of the clothes) and air things out well before bagging them. I love my current dry cleaner because they’re excellent at getting things clean, and they follow these two practices diligently.

I was very excited by CO2 cleaning a few years ago, but couldn’t find any cleaners in Washington state that used CO2. Now, however I found a site that lists several:

Unfortunately, I’ve had *very* bad experiences with Corry’s cleaners, and would never go back. They once pressed a double-breasted suit into a single-breasted suit, and completely changed the collar press.

I haven’t tried the others. I might risk some of my more durable clothes, and any comforters that can’t be wet-cleaned. If anyone tries Blue Sky cleaners, let me know!
