Last night we went to see Ed Miller and Brian McNeil (one of the original Battlefield Band members) at the Mucky Duck.  We were treated to a great Scottish traditional song medley with union songs, "We're going to South Australia", and shepherdess jokes.  Mucky Duck is really a great Houston resource.  I overdid it with the food though.  I had ( Read more... )

My neighbor's yard company is composed of morons.  I came home to find the bed bordering his fence on my side totally dug up with all of my perennials uprooted and covered in dirt.  I gave them permission to come in to do "tree trimming" but this was not what I expected.  My neighbor agreed to pay to replace the plants I lost and seems a reasonable ( Read more... )
