I really want to go play in the snow
It's snowing right now and it's so pretty. It was yucky walking downhill to get home, but now that I'm home I just want to go outside and play. When I was walking through the apartment complex, I got this huge urge to just jump in the snow. Like a physical urge to jump in the snow. I remembered building snowmen on the front lawn in Greenlawn, and sledding down the hill at Boyd, and making a snow fort and hiding in it. And those bigass snowsuits that made it impossible to do anything in, but they did keep you warm. And then coming inside for a big cup of hot chocolate with marshmellows. I miss that.
So when I got to my doorway, there was a big snowdrift in front of my door. I opened my door, tossed my stuff inside, then turned around and just fell over in the snow. It wasn't quite a snow angel, because there wasn't much room to move my arms or legs. But it was fun just laying there for a minute, the snow falling on my face. I got all full of snow and there are puddles all over my apartment, but I don't care.
Fuck it. I'm making a snowman.
