Old boobies aren't always wrinkly boobies
Work went by pretty fast today. I think it had to do with the fact that I wasn't in the mailcenter all day. I love working in the mailcenter, but when I'm there for almost 8 hours straight, it goes pretty slow. But today I was in the East Tower sorting mail, and the went down to the Post Office to help out there a bit before going back to the mailcenter. It was fun. Sometimes its nice to stir things up a bit. And it'll be nice to go back to the old mailcenter hours. I like working for 3 hours at a time. Sorting mail can get very tedious after a while. But it's still fun.
Laura got back to Ithaca yesterday, so today we went to see "Calender Girls" and it was so cute! There actually were a few old boobies flying about, but nothing too crazy. The movie was very sweet and cute, and it's more wonderful because it was based on a true story. So now I want to see the original calender, out of sheer curiosity. But we both enjoyed it a lot. And I got my check from the theater, so I enjoyed that as well.
It's weird to think that classes start on Monday. Where in the world did my winter break go??? Geez. It'd be nice to have a break where I could actually take a break. Maybe someday. Except for having to get up at 8:00 every morning, I've been feeling pretty good lately. I love hanging out with my friends on a regular basis, and being very independent and working two jobs and taking care of myself. I'm not exactly rolling in money, but I'm earning more than I did last semester, so that helps me out a bit. But I'm feeling really good about my jobs, and my friends, and my classes and things. S'nice to feel secure in what you're doing and the life you're living and all that. I know things are going to change majorly in 6 months, but it's nice to have that feeling now.
