Stupid bitch.
Dairy Barn lost power again. Twice actually. The first time it was just us again and we got it back after like, a minute. But the second time it was the whole town that lost power. The store lost power and it was dark, but it looked like...darker than the last time. So I looked outside and sure enough the strip had lost power. Some guy before had said that lightning hit a transformer or something near the baseball field and it caught fire. So that prolly had something to do with it.
Marilyn decided that us staying there in pitch black with money in the drawer was not too safe, and we started closing up like a half hour early. But by the time we actually left, it was like 10:50 anyway. So technically we closed only 10 minutes early. I just hope the power comes back soon otherwise everything in the freezers will go bad overnight. That'd suck for Debbie to go in tomorrow and have ice cream soup in the freezers...lol.
I got cursed out tonight actually. This girl pulled into the store and asked for cigarettes. Now, when I saw her I figured that she was of age to buy cigarettes but she looked young enough to be questionable. So I rung up the cigarettes and when I went over to her car I asked if I could see her ID real fast. So she starts rummaging for it with one hand and starts to like, reach for the cigarettes with the other hand. I said to her that I had to see her ID first, that was all.
After I glanced at it she snapped at me and went, "You don't have to be rude." I just gaped at her and was like, uhh I wasn't being rude. She threw her ID on the other seat, grabbed the cigarettes and went, "Thanks bitch." Then zoomed off and practically ran over my foot. I seriously don't know what her problem was. I. was. not. being. rude. I just had to see her ID before I could actually give her the cigarettes. There was nothing rude at all about what I said. I know I was right and she was waaaaay wrong, but it still shook me up slightly. I don't enjoy being cursed out like that. Oh well.
