Happy to me
Well, I don't know exactly what the deal is with the draining system, but it seems that the drain is working again. I woke up at 7:30, almost went back to bed, but then I figured it'd be wise to empty the water out of the litter box. I was right, because if I had gone back to bed, it would have overflowed and that would have been annoying. But I tested the drain, and it seemed like the bits of water I was pouring down there were draining. So I put the hose in the drain, hoped for the best, and went back to bed for another 4 hours. I came back a half hour ago, and there's no water.
This would be a good thing, except now I'm just really worried about leaving it alone all day to go to the city. What if something happens and the water starts backing up again? I won't be back until like, 2am. That'll make a fucking huge mess. But then again, it could be fine. I have no idea. I can't ask my Mom to stop by and check on it, because she's in the city too. Gahhhh of all times for there to be draining problems, it had to be the day before I go into the city. Couldn't it have happened tomorrow, when I'll be at the house all day? Grrr. It wouldn't even do any good to put the hose back in the kitty litter box, because that would overflow anyway. All I can do is hope for the best. I just hope I can relax enough to not worry about it later. I'm sure that won't happen.
On another note, I had a weird dream that I missed the concert tonight because I thought some friend was going to drive me to my new apartment in Philadelphia. But then they never showed up and I missed the concert for nothing. It was weird. Especially because I'd never move to Philadelphia. I'd sooner move to Guam.
