I'm using this to "Dieb" your Kupfer

Matt went back to London yesterday, but spent the night before at his parents' house to pack. It's rather quiet without him. I find it amazing that I spent pretty much fourteen full days with the man and didn't even get annoyed with him (aside from when the snoring happened). Fortunately, I had been invited to A's house to play a new board game, Dominion on Saturday night, so my mind was occupied by that, and gin:

The game was really good. You use money cards to buy more money and then characters or buildings or concepts that perform different tasks, like the Spy, which allows you to see your opponent's next card and decide whether they should discard it or not, or, Market, which gives you extra goes. The first few games were a bit slow, but once we'd gotten into the swing of things they went quicker and quicker, and we eventually finished at 3am.

Having already had a couple of drinks, I was happy to accompany my housemate in drinking some more, because he'd been to the library and wanted some wine. A lot more drinking took place, and we didn't go to bed until 8am.

Cue the horrific hangover from hell. I felt like the devil had crawled inside of me and died. Rough doesn't even cover it. Consequently, yesterday was spent on the couch watching no-brain TV and not eating a thing until 9pm when I devoured a bowl of mash and gravy.

It's snowing again today and I'm yet to do any work...

drinking, board games, snow
