NPR is really showing us how a blog can be used to report events that reports are in the middle of. This post from Chengdu Diary shows us survivors' accounts as many of them make thier way from the hardest hit areas.  I doubt that there is much here that you havent heard before, but it is a handy resource to have.  This christmas I am not going to buy anything.  Just letters to friends and loved ones that I mail from here in Korea.  I am willing to bet quite a pretty penny that no one has ever gotten them that before.
