Daejeon
I went to an EPIK conference on Friday and Saturday. It was nice they gave us $20 and paid for our ride. They also put us in a nice hotel... Much nicer than the love motel that I was in in Sept. It was really good to see everyone again. We had some speakers, a talent show, and a really rowdy MC.
The best part was being reminded that I both work with incredibly and talented people and that I think those in the EPIK office not only seriously care about this program, but they also care about us and our experience. The next day they took us to a nice temple to visit. The only really bad thing was that bringing in all these teachers from all over Korea to a hotel meant that it would only take a few of us to be sick for it to spread to everyone else. Thus I am now ill
Tonight I went to Gyeongju to see everyone there and it was quite nice. I fear that if I do not feel better by tomorrow I may skip Busan for X-mas dinner.
