PSA: Bare Necessities sale (including excellent sports bras!)
It's time for the annual 25% off sale at Bare Necessities, and it occurred to me that some of you who would benefit from it might not know about it.
BN sells bras and underwear in a wide range of sizes, including DD+ and plus-size. The site has a reasonably good shop-by-size feature (though note that some bras are listed at US sizes and others at UK or European sizes).
FYI, they carry my favorite sports bras -- bras that actually work for large busts: this Wacoal bra and this Enell bra (more sizes here and fun colors here). I find the Wacoal more comfortable, mostly because it's more breathable, but not everyone likes an underwire in a sports bra, and I swore by the Enell for a long time.
If you wear bras and haven't checked your size lately, it's worth doing so (or getting a professional fitting if you can find a place you trust); many American women buy the cup too small and the band too large (I certainly did for an embarrassing number of years). But if you are confident that you know your size, and especially if you have a favorite bra or brand that BN carries, this might be a good time to stock up.
