kass prompted: Recommend a current favorite poet or two and tell us why you like their work.
You know, I really don't have a good answer for this question right now; I haven't been reading enough poetry lately to have a current favorite! So instead I will share a few books I picked up recently and am looking forward to reading soon (for variable values of soon, heh).

Two books that caught my eye by poets whose work I'm unfamiliar with:
Louise Bernice Halfe, The Crooked Good
