that new Star Trek: Into Darkness teaser trailer
First: hi, new people! We've reached that point in the semester where I vacillate between posting nothing (because I'm busy grading) and posting a lot (because I'm avoiding grading). This year I'm trying to limit my procrastination to vidding rather than random posting. We'll see how that goes.
But the real point of this post was to say...
I have watched the Star Trek teaser trailer and I LOVE IT. My first reaction: HOLY SHIT. My second reaction: NEEDS MORE SPOCK. My third reaction: OMG I CANNOT WAIT TO VID THIS MOVIE.
In fact, I am thinking that this movie might be exactly what I need to finish the first reboot vid I started (back before I started "The Test"), the one I got three-quarters of the way through and then completely stalled out on because I had no exit strategy. Well, okay, I also stalled because I got sucked into making "The Test," which was supposed to be easy and fluffy and then turned out to involve learning new editing software and figuring out how to animate displacement masks and god only knows what else, and honestly once I was done I kind of never wanted to see Chris Pine's and Zach Quinto's faces ever again. (Turns out that time has cured me of that last problem.) MY POINT IS, I am SUPER EXCITED.
