why I love being a grownup

Slept in. Had chai, gingerbread cake, and satsuma oranges for breakfast. Am settling in to watch the Lord of the Rings DVDs while folding laundry. There's leftover Indian food for lunch (masoor dal! saag paneer!) and there'll be chili (made with beans from my garden) simmering on the stove this afternoon. And there will probably be cat shenanigans, about which more anon.

Merry Christmas to all who celebrate it, and a very happy Isaac Newton's Birthday to the rest of us. *g*
