kitten update... with photos!
It's been much too long since I posted kitten photos.
In the last couple of months, The Big Kitty has settled completely into his role as Best Babysitter Ever. He has taught the kittens to play chase with him - he loves being chased, and they love chasing him, so that works out nicely - and he has also taught Toby the joys of burrowing under the blankets to sleep snuggled up to the biped at night. During the day the three boys sleep piled up together (in the cat tree, on the couch, or on me) more often than not. The kittens are even wearing down The Princess Cat's resistance; they think she is wonderful and amazing and are not deterred by her growling at them because she has the best growl ever OMG, and she has finally moved beyond hostility to tolerance and even, in some cases, to physical contact (although thus far they have managed to cuddle up to her only when she's already asleep).
I realized a few days ago that the kittens are more like small or even medium-sized cats now; they still act very kittenish, and they're still noticeably smaller than The Big Kitty, but Theo in particular is nearly as large as The Princess Cat! Which makes sense, since they're more than six months old.
But enough narrative; how about some photos?
