I finished my dissertation this evening.
I don't actually have the PhD yet; that'll be after truepenny turns it in for me sometime in the next couple of days. But I finished the dissertation, which is the last requirement. truepenny's already printed it out.
In other news, today was the first day of school; I really liked the last two episodes of Battlestar Galactica; and my Gilmore Girls DVDs (seasons 2 and 3) arrived today. Also, VividCon happened, and, uh, other stuff too. Oh, and tomorrow I get five paychecks.
All of which I may talk about later. Today? Today I finished my dissertation.
It's anticlimactic, really. And yet I am still damn pleased with myself.
