I get disinterested in things too quickly - books, TV shows, Livejournal, but then I pick them up again and they are like new. I stayed up to the wee hours of the morning watching videos of Bush (the band, not the president). My favorite song in the whole wide world, Glycerine, is by them, but I haven’t listened to them for a while and when I did I ( Read more... )

I’m trying to outline a script about siblings who work in a Laundromat - one’s a screw-up (the girl) and the other is the overachiever (the boy), but throughout the film, the screw-up becomes the goody-two-shoes and the overachiever becomes close to deranged. Um...Pleasantville? Although to be fair, that movie is bad and I'm pretty sure there's a million and one ways to improve it.

And I agree: why the fuck is it so cold!?

Pleasantville? Really? Other than the fact that the sister is the screwup and the brother is the overachiever -well, actually in Pleasentville, just isolated and lonely - I don't see much similarities in the characters. They won't change in the same way. I don't even think the brother changes much in the film; he just finally finds his place. But yeah it's a simple premise done a million times a million way, but everything pretty much has nowadays.

I actually think that my characters are more similar to the siblings on Wonderfalls, that cancelled TV show.

I just redsicovered Bush too. They're AMAZING! "Mouth" and "Chemicals Between Us" are awesome and "Machinehead" is like one of my personal anthems. Flyleaf rocks too!

Oh yeah, and hey, whats up?! :)

I'm cool. I'm cool. I'm in Poughkeepsie until August working in a Theater's box office and going on youtube.com to watch music videos.
