First Lesson Today!
Today, my son and I had our first violin lesson! Wa-hey! It went very well, and I liked our new teacher, and I think this is going to be fun!
C was a bit disappointed that we’re not allowed to use our bows for a couple of weeks. Right now, we’re just supposed to be practicing holding the violin in the correct position, plucking (and learning the notes) of the open strings, and doing some finger exercises to strengthen the fingers of our left hands, in preparation for when we can start to play.
So far, so good. :)
