Multiverse
I just had a "thank God my eyes work again" moment just now. It almost makes up for today. First off someone brought in donuts to work. We had cocktail hour at work for the holidays and all week I told the party planner about my gluten issue and what I could drink and stuff...and guess what happened? Yeah, they got nothing I could drink. And then gave me the stank eye for for hiding at my desk because I didn't care to hang out with them in the back where they were drinking. ONLY sometime during all of that J_ popped up out of nowhere with a small box of two rice flour brownies just for me. I can count on the gay vegetarian in the office for recognizing my recent life change. Thanks, J_. They were delicious. Icing on the cake, a bunch of the guys came out to hang out with me at my pod...and then after they left I noticed I had left an incriminating fannish thing up on my desktop. *fails*
It is a long, holiday weekend in the US so I normally list out an unrealistic amount of stuff I'm going to do, get to only half of it, and then feel disappointed/lazy I didn't do them. So instead I am going do things...and then list the things I do. Revolutionary, huh?
What I am accomplishing right now? Hot chocolate and watching an episode of NOVA about multiverse, string theory. This is enjoyable to me. Don't judge. There's a dude in mom jeans writing on a chalkboard. I am enthralled. After I am done with this...who knows! I won't add it to the list until it is done.
