Leila never thought she was all that into weddings, and yet: when she got engaged, all of that went out the window. After nearly five years with the same man and marriage only recently entering her mind as a remote possibility, it's like she had this whole other side of herself, and that side is an insane bridal-magazine reading dress-hunting color-scheme-obsessed bride. She realizes she's indulging in a cultural joke, here, and that it's not the most feminist thing in the world, but it's a big deal to her. Maybe bigger than it is to the average person, even.
So when Sol gets in, she's sitting on the living room floor with little color swatches laid out in front of her. Presently her two main options are blue and white, or red, gold, and white. She's trying not to be self-centered with her tastes, but...girl likes red. She's also already made appointments to get her dress handled and has a location pinned down, but there are many things she wants to discuss with Solomon, still, and she's very glad he wants to be involved, because she's only guessing at what's appropriate for the occasion- not to mention she's inclined to make a few concessions for his family's tastes.
(She's not convinced some of them won't hate her forever, though.)
