Halloween 2008
WHEW! Election Day is over, and with a great result. I was nervous all day yesterday, thankfully in vain.
As promised, the pictures from our New York City Halloween parade adventure. Be warned: Even in the pictures, the crowd may be suffocating.
At the Halloween parade in Greenwich Village, we saw...
lightsabers...
chickens...
Buckethead (but not the new Guns 'n' Roses album, which has now been delayed 15 years. Now THAT would have been freaky)...
serial killers...
...and their Alfred Hitchcock movie victims...
Olympic champion Michael Phelps...
John Travolta, stayin' alive...
a bunch of devil Sarah Palins, and a LOT of Obama supporters,
and above all else...
CROWDS! It took about an hour and a half for us to get moving, and that was an hour and a half of being squished together like sardines. I learned that a lot of people in New York City still smoke, and some don't take showers. It left me feeling a little ornery.
