(Everything's under cuts, 'acourse.)
Okay, so. FINALLY finished it. Now I have to go find fanfic for it.
The epilogue really did it. I mean, everything 'cept Harry/Ginny, Ron/Hermione, and Remus/Tonks fell through. We dunno who Draco's wife is, but I'm guessing it ain't Blaise. Mpreg? In my canon? I think not. BUT. We got kiddies. And I ship nice big orgies where people have sex and preach love and oops, that's your brother's wife you were shagging last night, coulda sworn it was yours and what do you mean you shagged said sister-in-law's ex-boyfriend TOO?! Ahehe? Anyways. 'Slong as it's IC and there's accessible porn for it, I'm good.
I was. Kinda disappointed that Draco doesn't get the wand, but it's for the GREATER GOOD best. I mean. He proved to be kinda sorta almost reliable when he was desperate. But. That's hardly a very convincing argument for getting the baddest wand of all time.
It was called Sev/Lily. Or something. I dunno. I thought it was kinda cool when worked into a fic -- like, y'know, as Dumbledore's Reason for trusting Snape. Then it was cute and angsty and I was like "awww~ James you bastard D<" and it was okay.
And then it became canon.
I kinda laughed and still thought it was cool, though. 'Cause. Backstory <3. And I really like that Snape was there when Lily was little and was her friend first and she tried to redeem him and he tried to save her and they both just really mucked things up and that makes me sad. I mean, I didn't even LIKE Snape much 'til I started reading some good pairing fanfic of him. Normally I'll stay away from them crazy 'shippers, but I gotta say, some of them? Manage to pull of the most RIDICULOUS things and keep it IC. I think the ships should recruit 'em as, eh, recruiters. "Here, here, you like Harry Potter? Read this, see? See? Can you see it? YAY S/HE NODDED WE GOT ANOTHER ONE =DDDD"
...Nosrsly, it would work. 'Steada shipwars we could have ficwars. That would be so many levels of awesome.
He's going to do it at some point. So:
1.) Hug people. Mom, Dad, Sirius, Lupin, Dumbledore, everyone. Tom Riddle too. He...kinda really needs it, y'know?
2.) Sock every single one of them. Sirius gets extra hits for dying from a Stunning spell (and we tell Daddy that so that he can mock Padfoot). Except we don't hit Tom Riddle, 'cause he's psycho misunderstood abused sadistic sad and depressing and Ron's the insensitive one.
3.) Sit the Weasley twins down with the Marauders. RUN. FAR. AWAY.
4.) Talk to Snape. Like, not, "I know you had the biggest man-crush on my mom since for EVAR and that ttly explains everything now, +friend? :D?" but more "Dude. Your life SUCKED. Thanks for not being an annoying git outside the classroom. ...Much. You know what I mean. --Didja see me sock my Dad? Can I not be James Jr. again?" all casual-like and joking but still kinda serious. (Do this when Lily is sorta nearby.)
5.) Tell everybody about your brilliant adventures. Quote everyone in the room and grin when you do it. (C'mon, we've had seven books; pretty much everyone's gotten at least ONE good line.)
Other'n that, not much is happening here. Summer homework -- Jack Kerouac, On the Road. Pretty good read, actually. Also, I discovered I...really really don't like Hemingway's style of writing. It's not bad writing, very much not, but it is minimalistic. Which is a style that just bugs me. I like Kerouac's beautiful image-heavy run-ons mu~uch better. <3 Not gonna like the summer meeting though... I mean, my classmates are DUMBASSES. Seriously. And I'm not just saying that because almost none of the idiots went to SparkNotes or Wikipedia or did any kind of ANYTHING for this assignment outside of "read book, do work." And when their analyses are shorter than the quote they're ANALYZING--!
Oh well. English was my sleep class anyways. Guess I'll just schedule my PreCal homework for that period -- hopefully I won't have Eng first. That'd suck and be way tempting and gah. I'm trying to get BETTER about my homework. Really. ;_;
Ah well. Guess I'll just deal and stuff. Got three days before I HAVE to start on the last of my homework, mom's orders. Siiiigh. S'pose I should appreciate this free time...I won't have it next summer, most likely...
