I have a puppy.
His name is Falkor (points to everyone who gets that reference!) and he's adorable. Barely four weeks old, not fully weaned yet, so I've got a baby bottle and formula that I have to feed him from every so often. He's a darling, even mostly paper trained already. He just can't get the hang of those darned puppy pads. He always goes to the hardwood floor. I suppose he figures it's easier to clean up there as opposed to the blue plastic thing on the floor.
I also have a new job as a telemarketer. But before you flip, it's okay. I'm calling customers who have requested information about various things for websites, so in most cases they WANT to talk to me. It's fun so far, still in orientation and about to start working on a NASCAR club membership. I'm making decent money for once since moving here, so it's pretty fantastic. Finally, a job where my tendancy to talk incessantly and be sickeningly friendly and upbeat is an asset!!
Given some situations with a sickly relative needing care we had to move out of our other roommate's place, who I'll miss deeply and hope to get to hang out with again at some point in time, should disagreements between other parties be worked out soon, we're now staying with my friend Melanie in the house that she owns! Score! She has a zoo though, with the last count at 6 dogs counting Falkor, a similar number of cats, four chinchillas, a naked rat, a bunny, two hamsters, a mouse, a frog and three goldfish. Whew!! My allergies are going nuts! But I love it there. Except for the occasional puddle on my bed. *grumble grumble*
Got Charles his Christmas present early; he's busy now engrossed in it. By the way, for all you survival horror fans, Call of Cthulu: Dark Corners of the Earth is an awesome game! Be forewarned though, you don't get a weapon for like two hours in and most of what you're fighting, you really REALLY shouldn't be! Excellent game, be sure and try it out! It's for X Box only though, so if you've got the system or access to one, give it a shot.
Had a surprisingly lovely visit with my family last weekend. I was shocked, needless to say. An entire day long visit with no nastiness, name calling, yelling or other unpleasant behavior. Must find out who slipped Prozac into their drinking water.
Well, that's all for now. Sorry I'm on so erratically right now; using the library to post right now, and classes and work combined are kicking my butt! I'm doing great in everything except math, so I'll probably be retaking that this semester coming up. Well, until I see you all again, I love you bunches and take care! Happy Turkey Day! And if I don't post before it, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
