Dave-brau!
Hello all,
Even though Dave is not getting hitched for a few months yet, it is time to begin brewing his requested wedding-libations!
Sunday June 1st - starting at noon.
He has requested something light and possibly fruity. As the heat-wave is almost upon us, we will have to be extra careful for fear of replicating the "Mount St. Scott-Aimee" tragedy.
Very likely, the two beers we will be brewing will be belgian-yeast based as they stand up well to 70+ degree fermentation temps. This means that there may be banana notes and probably a bit of plum or bubble-gum thrown in.
Come one, come all to the greatest show on terra firma!
(those underwater bastards have better shows with all those bloody dolphins.... I wish we had dolphins)
Please bring random foods, drinks and/or anime. I have procured a bottle of Southern Tier's Uber Sun (insert umlat over u please) Imperial Wheat. I also have a bottle of Dogfish Head's Palo Santo Marron which is best described as an imperial brown ale fermented in exotic paraguayan wood casks (which also happen to be some of the largest ever produced). It sounded absolutely ridiculous so of course, I had to get some.
