Hello, ladies! It seems like it's been forever since I've posted anything (other than icons) around here. I don't quite know where I've been (wherever I was, I was not seeing Dark Knight or Mamma Mia, sadly) but I'm here now - I'm sure you've missed me!

I've been away too - vacationing with a couple of long-time, never-met PotC fangirl friends (one is also a Desmond devotee *collective sigh*) and having a marvelous time, but no internet until this morning (and it is hijacked, so who knows how long it will last) and no HID!!!

Your award is lovely - you should send it to him! Annie would pass it along, I'm sure. And I'm with you, sister, on coffeeshop!Des. He is most perfect there. And...everywhere.

Love your icon. Now, if only there was some fic to go with it...

Oooh, I had no idea you were a PotC fangirl! Me too :D Although I've been slacking in the fandom lately. So fun that you got to visit and meet some friends. Back when the first movie came out there was a group of us on AOL's message boards and we always talked about having an annual get-together of some sort, but that never happened. :(

Thank you about the award! I honestly don't know how to go about sending anything to Annie, but I'm sure Ian knows how much the viewers loved The Constant. I think we've all squeed spoken our thoughts about it ;)

Now, if only there was some fic to go with it...
I keep thinking about it, honest! I just don't quite know where to begin..or go to, or end. But they're both floating around in my noggin trying to summon the plot bunnies!

Well met, fellow shipmate! I had no idea. :) I wrote Pirates for about a year before crossing over to Lost. Did you ever read any fanfic by hereswith or geekmama2? Those were two of the fangirls that I spent the past week with. The other was dear hendercats, also one of my very first PotC friends who came along on the Lost train (after I greased the floor and jacked it up so high on one side that she had no choice but to fall into the drink with me)

And hey - I see our Mi has already sent the link to Annie! YaY!!

Never read any of their fic, sadly, no. But I haven't been involved much in the fandom on LJ. The first movie was (and is!) my absolute favorite, so I worried that the sequels wouldn't really compete. But still, my sister and I were sure to be at the midnight showings in our PotC fan-garb :D

Oh my dear Ms. Gyspy... this SO deserves a longer, detailed reply. But I'm afraid that I am far far behind in all my emails and replies and must be short. I should tell you, though, that I am so far behind because no, Udre hasn't had me chained to my desk at all. In fact, the scoundrel up and disappeared for some time, leaving me to my own devices... and I've discovered that apparently I need his guidance and inspiration (and yes, an occasional stern hand when he finds me slacking off). But not to worry, I am not under any sort of punishment. He is, in fact, rather happy with the way my muse has returned.

Interesting... how Udre seemed to return to me at about the same time that you returned from your trip. Hmmm.
Are you certain that Udre, and even Anatoly, did not stow away with you? Should I have reason to be jealous??

I am so glad you are back with us. And now I am curious... are Udre and Anatoly's auras now clear? I certainly hope so. Udre may find he needs a friend like Anatoly, and not Yerik, in the future.

I am thankful that Udre is happy with the return of your muse, as that makes him less likely to be prickly while I am still readjusting to life here at home. Although he has, on several occasions, been a most companionable sounding board when I find myself longing for the sea as I do from time to time ( ... )
