Hello, ladies! It seems like it's been forever since I've posted anything (other than icons) around here. I don't quite know where I've been (wherever I was, I was not seeing Dark Knight or Mamma Mia, sadly) but I'm here now - I'm sure you've missed me!

Anyhow, we all know HIC was unfortunately snubbed at the Emmy's this year (but let's hear it ( Read more... )

*gives you a quick hug and air kisses to both cheeks as we pass each other in the foyer of the penthouse* No need to apologize, my dear, as I am still trying to get back into the groove myself, after having been away. I am thankful that Udre is happy with the return of your muse, as that makes him less likely to be prickly while I am still readjusting to life here at home. Although he has, on several occasions, been a most companionable sounding board when I find myself longing for the sea as I do from time to time.

Odd that you should mention stowaways... I had the uncanny feeling that both Udre and Anatoly were speaking to me quite emphatically twice as I traveled. The first was when I had gotten exactly 32 miles from home. I remember noting the mileage at the time, and I come back to find Chapter 32 of your incredible creation slipped beneath my door. Even more puzzling was that once they shut up (oooh, please don't tell that I used that language about Master Udre, but they were both driving me quite mad at the time) I didn't hear from them again until (and take my word for truth here, Ms. Ardella) I was once again 32 miles from home. There must be a portal from their minds to mine along a coordinate 32 miles from the penthouse. I would think it quite odd, but these sorts of things happen to me all the time. So, although they hadn't stowed away with me in actuality, they did manage to bombard me with a mental barrage of interesting babel.

Please rest assured that Udre and Anatoly have resolved their differences. It was nothing that good old fashioned heated verbal sparring couldn't fix. The last I saw of them they were seated in front of my fireplace, downing MacCutcheon whiskey and singing bawdy drinking songs. That's why I'm on my way to Udre's office. The couch there is just my size and most comfortable. Should you need me this evening, I can be found there, curled up and sleeping on the butter-smooth leather, much as dear little Bijou might do.

Oooooh... spoooooooooky... LOL!

I'm off to bed myself, after a quick peek to see what Udre and Anatoly are up to now. Bawdy drinking songs, you say? I can not miss that!
I leave Bijou to keep you company, she doesn't seem to wish to come with me tonight anyway. She loves that office couch so.
Good night, and sweet dreams to you.
