Ok, I hate this... I mean REALLY hate this! This will be the second year in a row that I"m sick for the Alumni Messiah. I'm supposed to sing "He Shall Feed His Flock" with Gretchen Baker this year, but as of right now, when I flip into head voice all that comes out is air... I can't even force a sound. oooh, don't panic about your voice. you still have two days to possibly recover. I recommend drinking any and all tea you have in your house. also, if it is possible to go on total voice rest, I would suggest it. there are also these great cough drops that I think are called Cold-Eez, and they have zinc in them. they taste kind of nasty, but they brought my vioce back enough to sing my recital pre-hearing when I was losing my voice.
