Rush...was amazing. Oh Dear God did I cream my panties. Pat's right, Snakes & Arrows was 100% MADE to be played live.

Pat V and his dad were there, and so were quite a few others. Deanna, Austin Howard, Katie Witten, Newman, Webber, Kitty, & Michelle were all there and I ended up seeing Ian Kingsley and his girlfriend there too. So that was a nice surprise.

Edit: My cousin Emily was there as well with her boyfriend. Ha she found me afterwards when I was waiting for VanDusen. Another good surprise. :-)

Subdivisions, Free Will, Natural Science, Larger Bowl, Tom Sawyer, Far Cry, and closing with YYZ...oh yea. Definitely satisfying. Neil did a different drum solo this time...very jazz inspired, too. Spinning drumset and all. :-) Started out normal, then it turned and the entire other side was like electric and heavily modded. Very techno/industrial sounding, then turned back around and started up this crazy big-band background track that he jammed to with all these old jazz drummers from the 50's playing on the screens in the back. Very cool.

They didn't play Fly By Night, but according to Pat, they haven't played that in like 20 years. Hey, I can't complain too much. Still an awesome show with Chicken Rotisserie's in the back of the stage? Oh Hell, it's Rush. Whatever. :-)

I don't think there was a better possible way to spend my last night of freedom before the next 8 years of college hell. In lighter news, Jordan Shaw is in my Organismal Bio class.
