The original inspiration came from the "beginnings" drabble prompt at Black Pearl Sails, but that was at the end of 2004. Um ... it grew a bit.

Crazy, wild, totally nutso day at work, in which we had four (five?) crises in the works simultaneously and no administrator in the building. Oh yeah, and that was all before 9am.
