I have been surrounded by creative people this Halloween.

Saturday night was neeuqdrazil and curgoth's costume party. There were some fantastic costumes. curgoth was a Fremen from Dune, complete with a "catchpocket" of gin and tonic that he could sip through a tube. mycrazyhair found an eighties-vintage blazer with a garish design of gold, pink and purple metallic thread. One of the things I loved about backpacking in rural Romania was the way that many village homes were works of folk art. Now it looks like someone has written a book about them. I'll have to look it up.
