This one takes the cake...
So this woman came into Barnes and Noble the other day and comes up into café and she ended up writing a check for her stuff. So, she's on the phone while she's writing the check and she says "Oh, where am I?" Then looks up at the sign that we have that says BARNES & NOBLE, and goes "That's right, Borders." and starts making the check out to Borders.
So I stopped her, "ummm, we're not Borders. We're Barnes & Noble." And just to make sure I haven't been working at the wrong store this whole time, I turned around and looked at the sign, and sure enough... it said Barnes and Noble.
And people wonder why this country is in such a mess.
It's because we're inhabited by idiots.
