This past weekend was a whirlwind of excitement, activities, conversations, emotions...

Actually more than a weekend, from Wednesday to Sunday.
Being in Orlando for all that time, I realized a few things. Cats really are not great company when you are allergic to them; but sometimes a place to stay is a place to stay. I managed to get in a little me time though I had plenty to do and it seemed like there was no time.

I also realized that I am constantly living in two worlds. I wanted to say that I was trapped between two worlds but it doesn't seem to fit properly. In fact the journey back and forth between the two is the only solace and comfort I know I will get. Everything else is just gravy. Those car rides between Tampa and Orlando are very invigorating and relaxing and peaceful and exciting. I feel most alive when driving that 75 miles. Odd being as I don't like to drive much in the first place.

Most of the conversations I had were intriguing. So many people commented on how exciting my life is and how amazing it is that I travel back and forth every Wed and Sun to Orlando. They have become so commonplace to me that I do think otherwise.

The journey must be what it's about. The destination is always fun but the journey brings me something I cannot quite describe or at least do justice to describing.
