VORKOSIGAN DREAMCASTING
all yen's fault. aaahhh... now I gotta dreamcast vorkosigan.
miles vorkosigan/mark vorkosigan (did I mention this is all yen's fault? cause she went, doesn't the actor for bonzo look like he'd make a great miles?):
ivan vorpatril (also yen's fault. I haven't watched the crazy ones, so i'm not too familiar with james wolk but aaah I found this photo and dying!):
gregor vorbarra (skinny, dark-haired, a little fey-looking and early gregor was all kinds of haunted and emo, and therefore TOM HIDDLESTON IS PERFECT):

duv galeni (uber ambitious intelligentsia with berserker tendencies who goes join the army due to his wee bit of daddy issues. I casted Til Schweiger because omg so hot in inglourious basterds (and the man does look like he can go bersek and kill ghem-lords)
cordelia (captain, wife, mother, marysue... I have mixed feelings about cordelia, but I think susan Sarandon would be an awesome cordelia. can't you see her dishing out hard truths to her son? added bonus, both susan Sarandon and moises arias have similar heavy-set eyes, and in the books, miles is supposed to have inherited cordelia's eyes, so! also, redhead = A+++)
elena bothari (beautiful, tall, dark haired like her father, but also deadly (thanks to dad again), i figured Angelina jolie might work, think mixture of tomb raider in terms of physical prowess and er photo below for beauty. also, elena has to be all kinds of spectacular because she single-handedly moulded mile's taste for tall dark women...)
elli quinn (also incredibly gorgeous and kickass, so gemma atherton in hansel and gretel: witch hunters is all kinds of win. just squint and pretend that's dendarii dress greys she's wearing. now to try and shoehorn Jeremy renner in because omg!!!! val, help! who can Jeremy renner play in vorkosigan verse???)
ekaterina (elegant, the perfect vor lady... had to cast Rachel weisz. she has the gravitas to play a woman under siege from her husband, which the younger actresses do not. also, the photo i found could almost be Ekaterina in her mourning widow clothes...>.>)
am skipping taura (impossible to case, requires cgi and movie magic to the max!) and pple like simon and lady alys. next time mebbe.
