So I'm heading for the beach in a bit over a week. And I still haven't written up my London trip. My New Year's Resolution to do more with my LJ is a sad, sad failure! :(

But in other news, podficbigbang is gearing up for another go, and this year I want to get back into the podficcing side of things as well as my usual contribution of cover art ( Read more... )

thinking about things, podfic big bang, recs please, just call me goldilocks

Hello! I am *crosses fingers* not too bad at the moment, though the ME is still screwing around with my life in all sorts of fun ways (and whenever it starts to get on a slightly more even keel, life (or the DWP) sends me another plate to juggle and the resulting stress/energy expenditure/emotional upheaval throws the ME off-balance again!).

...Evidence for me being not too bad = hey look, I'm actually replying to someone within a week! Go me! ;-)

And how are you?

*g* Merlin recs are always welcome. Always. I may not be too active in the fandom any more, but I never let go of an old fandom completely (and it's not like I'm more active anywhere else at the mo, so...). And Merlin and Arthur's speech patterns are old, familiar friends, which always makes for a good podfic option.

At the moment I'm also tending to read fic from the Marvel movie 'verse, the Star Trek reboots, Sherlock (plus the RDJ film version) and Cabin Pressure.

Oh, and I would be into The Bletchley Circle, but sadly it doesn't seem to have much of a fannish presence that I've been able to find. And I keep meaning to go hunting for an Almost Human fandom, because Karl Urban and Michael Ealy are all sorts of awesome!

Plus, at a pinch, my old favourites of Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Babylon 5 and half a dozen not-very-active book fandoms.

*g* In short - theoretically, I should be able to find plenty of podficcable fic easily, but somehow it's not working out that way!
