art show
last night was pretty good. there was an art show thing for james and it was pretty much a high school reunion. i finally got to give james mom some of his art that has been haunting me down in my cellar. it was kind of weird having it in my house when i knew his mom should have it. but i was quite frankly scared to give it to her....for fear of breaking her maybe-sort-of-healed heart.
she apologized for not having someone tell me that at the last minute the funeral was public...but i told her that i didnt know and i certainly wasnt going to crash a funeral......even if it was for a friend. but his family, becca, alicia, shane and i took a pic for the advertizer. i wasnt going to get in it...because it seemed like a family/ REALLY close friend pic.....but james mom told me to get into it..."so i wouldnt be left out of this too" so i thought that was really sweet of her.
i want to make her some cookies and visit someday...cuz she really is a sweet lady even if i only met her like twice....and both under trying cicumstances..
well.....i gotta get going to b-fast with my dad.....
