1. I have heard the new Tegan & Sara album played in establishments I have visited in the past month (coffee shops, bookstores, etc) more than any other single album ever, I think.
Question: Is there something about this album that makes it more appealing to play in public places? Are Tegan & Sara really that popular?
Question: Are Tegan & Sara, despite being twin sisters, totally mascots for the gays?

3. Yesterday the coffee shop girl asked if anyone had ever told me I look like Leelee Sobieski. I was forced to say no. I ask you, livejournal: mama h, sobieski. Relatedly, in discussing this with certain members of the parliament (ie E), I have officially typed "Sobieski" WAY TOO MANY TIMES in the past few days.
4. BONEZ came 98% of the way to making me cry tonight.
5. Last semester Peter and I talked about how you go through these weird periods of coasting for a few weeks and then having to turn a bunch of stuff in and then coasting some more; I seem to have begun coasting as of about one week ago. I guess I'll look at the readings for tomorrow in honor of it being the last reading assignment, but I am totally ignoring the fact that there won't be readings assigned for next week because THE HUGE PROJECT IS DUE. But, actually, times three. Three huge projects are due next week. What have I done for the past two nights? That's right, sat on the couch watching tv, crocheting and eating chocolate. Eh. (ETA: In retrospect, eff that: thisis what I'm supposed to "look over" for class tomorrow? I DON'T THINK SO)
6. I keep not showering at night because I think I'm going to get up and run in the morning, but then at 6:06 my (fleece) sheets are way too snuggly and I am way too sleepy, so what actually ends up happening is that I skip a shower. And I'm not sure what this says about me right now, but that really doesn't bother me as it would have three years ago? Or, say, 12 months ago?
7. This will probably save lives. I am so proud.
