CAN'T BELIEVE THIS IS HAPPENING
It's actually a They Might Be Giants song about some crazy bastard you don't know waving you over so he can hit you but you can take portions of it out of context and sing, "CAN'T BELIEVE THIS IS HAPPENING," whenever you feel the need to express that sentiment.
FOR EXAMPLE: WHEN IT IS SIX THIRTY AM (AKA FUCK O'CLOCK) AND YOU ARE AT WORK AND HAVE BEEN HERE HALF AN HOUR AND ACTUALLY SAT IN THE PARKING LOT LISTENING TO NPR IN THE DARK FOR HALF AN HOUR BEFORE THAT BECAUSE YOU'RE NOT EVEN ALLOWED IN THE BUILDING BY YOURSELF THIS EARLY
The mister had a 6:05 flight to Chicago for a 2-day conference this morning.
I have been up since 4:15.

Um okay so anyway 25_days is ramping up for the glorious finish tomorrow evening. YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW????
Also, a note about this gunslinger thing: Captain Malcolm Reynolds is the most agreed-upon gunslinger, which I totally agree with. Mal is totes a gunslinger!
HOWEVER, I guess we gotta talk about our ideas of gunslingers, because there's a lot of variations on votes after that. When I say "gunslinger" I mean in a metaphorical sense, not in the sense of someone who literally carries around guns a lot. I mean a badass who more or less fights the good fight in the global/universal/metaphorical good vs. evil fight, which is why it's surprising to me that only 4 other people voted for JFK. JFK is canonically the last gunslinger, you know?? A champion! Which is why I put Angel on the poll, too. I feel like a requirement for being a gunslinger is that you can't be doing what you're doing for selfish reasons. Which is why I don't consider VM Herself a gunslinger; she's too selfish.
