Well, that was a totol bust, thanks to Spike of course. I kept the glare on my face as we walked to my car and my body was somewhat sore because of the throwing around and being, oh, I don't know, numb for most of the visit. If he hadn't have come, then this wouldn't have happened, I wasn't sure what would happen, but this? Wouldn't have happened and it's all his fault.
"It's all your fault," I mumbled and got into the car, not even caring that he was driving, but I was wondering how he did get here. Probably walked and too bad he couldn't walk the rest of the way back. He always did this, tagged along and it only made things worse. I was getting tired of it. I was going there to do business and because of him, it ended up being some freak show with Alyx pulling the strings.
We drove off and out of the garage and headed back to the hotel. I needed a shower and new clothes and possibly a good sleep. As he reached for the radio, I slapped his hand away and turned on what I like, the soft rock station. I needed something to calm me down and with him in the car, that wasn't working.
"You always do this. Always. You come along, mess things up, I was really getting onto something but no, you have to come along and screw it all up as usual," I said and looked at him and then realized, I wasn't getting onto anything because figuring out Alyx could take years, I already knew that, but still ... he didn't have to know that.
"Next time? You're not going. What were you doing following me?"
Shaking my head, I tapped the armrest as he drove and I went wide-eyed when he almost hit a car. So, that's two things he's never doing. Tagging along and then driving my car.
