Do you see the beauty of this whole thing? The only people who are actually going to show up are the only people who take the whole "lulz" thing seriously. People like the post-adolescent trolls that infest /b/ and know-nothing elitist toolboxes who "write" for Encyclopedia Dramatica and keep SomethingAwful from being the ultimate in pop culture satire. And they're all gathering in one place at the same time. It's a chance to prove that one cannot hide behind a monitor and a keyboard forever.. to exactly the type of people who require that proof. Ah, bliss.
I mean, who doesn't want a real life chance to take a swing at a douchebag like SomethingAwful's Dr. David Thorpe? I'd totally risk a night in the city jail to kick the-Ann Coulter-of-the-entertainment-press right in the balls.
