I did a lot of stereotypically "adult" things this weekend. I will not say that I feel "adult", because I generally believe that classical "adultness" is an illusionary concept which wrongs and confuses both young and old - but that's another rant. Nevertheless, if I did believe in such a checklist, I hit a lot of them.
-- Went to the driving range with friends on Friday. As in, golf. Since when the hell did I golf? Answer: never. Well, I had lessons once in junior high. Despite that, I did ok. But golf. Weird.
-- Reading a nonfiction book: 'The Devil in the White City'. I never read nonfiction.
-- One year wedding anniversary. MY wedding anniversary. Having fancy dinners with wife.
-- I start my job at a law firm tomorrow. I will go in a suit. Kooky.
And thus, I have resolved that I need some D&D action, stat.
