But when you delete a bid, the person who bid before you is now in the lead. But when that person thought he or she had been outbid, they may've gone on to bid on something else, and now they are - to their surprise - in the lead on something where they thought they were losing. And that's not fair to them.

If you need to withdraw a bid, please comment to this thread. All comments are screened when posted but they may become visible in the process of replying to them to resolve the situation.
