Monster Mash Q and A!

May 06, 2012 22:21

Considering that I am probably never going to actually finish this series, I have decided to open up a Q and A for everyone to drop their questions into. Want to know what happened to your favourite character? Ask here. Niggling plot hole? I will attempt to fill it as best I can. Wanna play in the universe yourself but have some questions about ( Read more... )

So... Jeanne and Francis go together to heaven and Arthur and Alfred go together to hell? xD That's an interesting poetic symmetry there... Too bad poor Arthur will probably never meet the original Alfred again, though, since I'm assuming he would have gone to heaven, having given up his vampirism. Unless the god of this universe is particularly unforgiving. On the other hand, maybe it's better that Arthur gets to keep this Alfred and the nice Alfred gets to avoid him. x) Because... Arthur. Love the guy (even though he's a bloodsucking monster) but wouldn't want to spend the eternity with him clinging onto me all possessive.

Hey hey, I have another question: do Hunters go to heaven or hell? Or someplace else?

Hunters go wherever they're meant to go. Like any group of people, you get a mix of good and bad. It's all about their intentions. Some people go into the business to kill things, and end up being ruthless and cruel and uncaring about collateral damage. Others go because they want to protect their families and friends, or because they feel strongly that it's their calling.

There's always limbo for those who toe the line |D and reincarnation for those who believe in that instead.

Wow, that's quite an epic battle. XD Thanks for doing this Q and A, by the way, I'm really glad to know how it ends!

I can't help but wonder, does Alfred regret that he didn't take the offer to work for Wrath when he had the chance? Considering that he's in hell now anyway. :P

No prob! I felt bad just leaving it and never telling anyone what happens. So there you go. Maybe one day I'll write it out, but here's the plot for you until then.

Haha, that's the downfall for him. His own arrogance and ignorance damned him further. He could have been quite a successful wrath demon. Now he's burning in the pits. Sucks for him, though he does deserve it.

Sucks for him. :P Though you did a good job writing these characters, because despite that most of them are bad people/creatures I still kinda feel pity for them on some level...even while I know they deserve what they got, especially Alfred. Btw, how does Matthew cope with everything that happened (or does he die too)?

Haha, I have succeeded in my task of making terrible people likeable!

Matthew wakes up the next evening in a pile of rubble, severely weakened by the holiness and with a killer headache. After finding some prey and freshening up, he examines the scene and discovers the dustpile that was once Arthur. He's severely depressed, and just heads home to his coven to recuperate. At least he's still got his family.

And thus giving your readers such conflicted emotions about them. XD

I'm glad he's alive anyway, poor Mattie... I kinda just thought of one more question, since we're on the subject of Matthew. Was there any reason that Alfred Jones' Matthew looked so much like Vampire!Matthew, or was it just a coincidence?

Well for a while I was going to have the original Alfred and Matthew Kirkland be related by blood, and then that didn't happen for reasons I forget so...

Let's just go with "vampire genetics are weird". It's better than "a wizard did it" at least.
