[Byakuya is frowning even more severely than he usually does. It doesn't help that in the background is a pounding noise, accented by moans and scratching. One particular pound on the door causes him to close his eyes in frustration.]
I almost consider this desire to eat me flattering, except that I am sure these creatures' level of intelligence is far from worth it.
[And at that moment, the doorframe cracks and the zombie manages to push open the door behind Byakuya. Even so, he remains calm and drops the phone so that the ceiling is all that can be seen. Amidst the moaning, his deep, even voice is heard speaking an incantation. And then...]
Hadou #4: Byakurai.
[The next noise is a series of bangs that fade out, as if it's getting farther away until it is much quieter in the house. Then, a few moments later, the moaning ends with a dull thud, still quiet and still far away.
When Byakuya returns, there is some blood (or is it zombie flesh?) on his face, but he doesn't seem fazed at all by what just happened.]
The stench is already overpowering.
