[The video flickers on to the bleary and unfocused sight of something large and smooth, black that cedes into ruffled white. Fur. It's not the cleanest white, somewhat matted in places, especially down one side of the muzzle toward the -- nose, it's a dog's nose, or -- black. The black bumps into the screen, the picture skittering a few inches higher with the scrape of gravel. It glimpses more white, blotchy in places. For a moment the only sounds is the low panting of an animal. A hint, just a spark of yellow flashes into view but it's off the screen again. the image is obstructed by the dark pads of a lupine foot descending, still out of focus toward the screen.
The picture skitters, glimpses of paws and ears and piercing eyes flutter past, but finally, finally, it comes to a rest.
The white wolf -- or it's face and shoulders at least, seems a little mangy. He's seen a particularly vicious fight not too long ago. He's worse for wear. But his head cocks on the picture and those yellow eyes are bright with knowledge.
And then wolf huffs and his eyes flick away. At no point do his jaws move.]
This is pointless.
