Far be it from me to advise anyone on a course of action. Yet I cannot help but wonder why, precisely, the resources of a fishing town are not being utilized, both in regards to the lack of food and to aid in dealing with the flood.

Not for the first time, I wonder how humanity managed to pull itself from the muck and evolve into anything. Perhaps it was simply an accident. Happy for the lot of you. Terribly unfortunate for the rest of the universe.
