Summary: Mad decides to take up Ethan's offer of a 'date', even if they are still stuck in the Friend Zone FOR NOW.
It had been a couple of days since Madison had agreed to what she was trying not to think of as a 'date' with Ethan. It was a bad idea, she knew it was a bad idea, but in the end she decided just to go along as a friend and keep him company.
I just hope that's not a bad idea, too...
She'd been trying to give him space, time to come to terms with the knowledge that he had saved Shaun and just didn't remember it - Norman Jayden's arrival had confirmed that, but she doubted it had been any real comfort for Ethan.
She hoped, maybe, to take his mind off things by offering her friendship without presuming anything more. And, after the previous night, she could do with a shoulder to lean on herself, even if she wouldn't admit it.
So, after a trip to the S-Mart for supplies, Madison headed down Dandelion Road past her place to Ethan's house. Walking up to the front door, she shifted the large brown paper bag in her arms to get one free to knock, hesitating only a little before she rapped her knuckles on the door twice in quick succession.
