A successful night at work
Well I faced one of my bigger fears tonight at work....
I was Charge Nurse for my floor. Oh yeah completely responsible for the WHOLE floor :D *pats self on back* It was a good night too so that helped ease my nervousness a bit. Not to mention that the team leader for the whole hospital and for the rest of the weekend is my preceptor from my consolidation. I thought I did pretty good.
I also sent an e-mail out to one of the nurse educators about obtaining my ACLS (Advanced Coronary Life Support) in the fall. I will just have to wait to see if they are going to run the course. They have to have enough interest before they will run it. So I have been telling girls at work to show their interest so they will run the course at the hospital. I hope they do.
Buzz and I went over to the shop today and worked on my jeep. I got the old shocks off and gas tank out. Not to mention of course that I end up with the shit jobs.. like scrapping off all the old glue shit from under the tub. That is ok though cause I know it will be worth it in the end. Buzz sand blasted underneathe my tub and coated the firewall. There is still a lot that has to be replaced but I know it will look and perform good when it is all done. I can't wait. All I can think sometimes is JEEP JEEP JEEP!!!
Well other than that .. I'm keeping busy. Oh yeah and I am reading too. That's right reading. I started reading the Dark Tower series by Stephen King that Buzz has been reading. I am on the first book out of 7. Buzz is on the 4th. I just can't put it down it is so good. Anyways.. I am off to read, sleep, and continue on with life.
