"A bit of earth..." at the Cabaret Party!

Ladies and gentlemen, I am not angry at Michelle Knight.

Yes, I was greatly disappointed that she was unable to attend last night's Cabaret Party due to performances at the Whoop-de-Doo Revue.  I'm pretty sure she would have rather been at the Orlando Rep allowing me to serenade her with a new dedication.  Oh well...there's always March.

Completely unrelated the cabaret party... Do you know anything about the Broadway Theatre Project in Tampa? Quality, Worth it, credability?

Also, how have your students been fairing with college admission?

Broadway Theatre Project is a very intensive program, but I think it would be great for you to have the opportunity to work with the people Ann Reinking brings down to do the workshops and performance (let alone the opportunity to work with Reinking herself!). I don't necessarily agree with some of the things that the musical director for the project teaches as far as vocal training, but it is still a great program with a great reputation that you should definitely do if you have the opportunity to do so.

I was not teaching this year, so I don't have any students auditioning right now.

Hope your auditions are going splendidly!

Hi Matty!

....unfortunately, Ann Reinking is no longer affiliated with BTP, but they still expect to bring the same quality faculty and master class teachers.

I gotta get to the Cabaret one day!

Oh, good to know. I didn't realize you weren't teaching this year. Actually, I was just rejected from FSU's program, which I normally would have taken pretty easily, except that I couldn't afford to travel to Atlanta for the Unified or NYU auditions, so it was FSU or bust. I busted. So I'm doing the BA for now and re-auditioning next year, and hopefully I'll have a lot of the liberal arts crap out of the way.

Thanks for the speedy response!

Steve
